ABOUT me
yo!
I'm a London-based designer, researcher, and fashion and textile design lecturer. I currently serve as the pathway leader for Fashion Print on the BA Fashion Programme at Central Saint Martins, having previously been the Course Leader for Textiles at Loughborough University. My academic contributions extend beyond these roles, having guest lectured at various other institutions across the UK.
Before venturing into academia, I had my own brand, which showed at London Fashion Week and sold in stores worldwide. After Brexit caused mayhem to the British Fashion Industry and my trading I decided to focus on more lucrative consultancy projects before venturing into academia and other creative projects.
My work is steeped in narrative—stories that weave culture, humour, and eccentricity into vivid visual languages. I'm fascinated in the whimsical, 'art brut' side of the fashion industry: the weird, the absurd, and the out of place.
